Preservation Envy: Vermillion House, Greencastle Indiana

This is a wonderful period piece house at a very reasonable 124,900. We are envious of whomever snaps this one up!

This home was built by the first general store owner of Greencastle in 1887. Features include lavishly detailed woodwork, spacious rooms, hardwood floors, soaring ceilings and a park-like setting all within a block of DePauw University and the city park.

2 full baths, 4 bedrooms, kitchen appliances, and carport. Property features 2 city lots, mature trees, perennial flowers, fruit trees, berries and room for a sunny garden.

We love the entry, the detailed woodwork, the fireplace..this is one great house!
